Terms of service

Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Use the service only in compliance with applicable law and these terms. Do not attempt to access someone else’s workspace or disrupt the service.

Your content

You retain ownership of the notes and other content you submit. You give 1276046 Ontario Inc permission to store, process, display, and transmit your content only as needed to provide the service and the features you choose, such as synchronization, imports, sharing, and transcription. You are responsible for having the rights to content you upload or share.

If you create a read-only public share link, anyone with that link may view the shared note until you revoke it. Consider what you include before sharing.

Availability and third-party services

Some features require an internet connection or rely on third-party services, including authentication, payments, and voice processing. Offline edits may need to sync when connectivity returns. We work to keep Piper Pad available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every feature will be available at all times. Keep your own copies of important information.

Subscriptions

If you choose a paid plan, the applicable price, renewal period, and payment terms are shown before checkout. You can manage or cancel a subscription through the billing controls available in your account. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund a payment already made, except where required by law. Your payment provider handles payment information under its own terms.

Ending use and changes

You can stop using Piper Pad at any time. We may restrict access if use violates these terms or threatens the service or other users. We may change the service or these terms; changes will be reflected by an updated effective date. Continued use after revised terms take effect means you accept them.

Limits and contact

The service is provided as available. To the extent permitted by applicable law, 1276046 Ontario Inc is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
