Information we handle

We handle the account details needed to sign you in, such as your account identifier and email address; the notes, notebooks, collections, attachments, and settings you choose to create or import; and technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as request and error data.

When you use voice capture, audio and transcripts may be processed to turn speech into text. Managed transcription sends audio to a processing provider only after you consent in the app. Browser-provided speech recognition may be subject to your browser provider’s own privacy practices. Some work can be held locally on your device while offline and synced when you reconnect.

How we use information

We use this information to provide and synchronize your workspace, authenticate you, process the features you request, handle billing where applicable, troubleshoot problems, protect the service, and respond to support requests. We do not make your private notes public. If you create a public read-only share link, people with that link can view the shared note until you revoke access.

Service providers and sharing

We use service providers for hosting and storage, authentication, payment processing, and optional voice processing. They receive information needed to perform those services. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to protect the service and its users. We do not sell your notes.

Storage and your choices

We retain information as needed to run the service and meet legal obligations. Deleting content in the app may not immediately remove backup copies or records that must be retained for legitimate operational or legal reasons. You can edit and delete your notes in the app, revoke shared links, and sign out. For questions about your data, access, correction, or deletion requests, contact us below.

Offline copies may remain on a device you use. Clear the app’s browser storage if you no longer want that device to keep local data, especially on a shared device.

Security and changes

We use access controls and other reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no online service is completely secure. We may update this policy as the service changes; the effective date above will be updated when we do.
